1. General Information
Outfit Gen is designed to process as little personal data as possible. The app can be used without creating a user account. The developer does not use tracking, advertising, or behavioral analytics.
2. Data Processed by the App
The app processes content that users add or create themselves. This may include:
- photos of clothing items and accessories
- cut-out versions of those images
- piece categories and assignments
- saved outfits and fits
- names assigned to fits by the user
This data is used solely to provide the app’s functionality.
3. Storage
Images, pieces, categories, and fits added by users are stored locally on the respective device.
Outfit Gen currently does not use iCloud or CloudKit synchronization for this content. The developer does not have access to this locally stored data.
4. Background Removal
When adding a piece, Outfit Gen can automatically remove the background from an image.
This image processing takes place locally on the device using Apple technologies. Images are not sent to the developer’s servers or to external background-removal services for this purpose.
5. Camera and Photo Library
Outfit Gen may access the camera when the user chooses to photograph a new piece.
Alternatively, the user can select an image from the device’s photo library. Access occurs only in response to an action initiated by the user and is used solely for adding images to the app.
6. Data Sharing
The developer does not sell or rent personal data.
Images, pieces, and fits added by users are not shared with third parties for advertising, tracking, or analytics purposes.
7. Tracking, Advertising, and Analytics
Outfit Gen currently uses:
- no tracking technologies
- no advertising networks
- no analytics SDKs
- no external crash-reporting services
- no user profiling for advertising or analytics purposes
Apple may independently process aggregated App Store and system data in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policies.
8. Retention and Deletion
Locally stored content remains on the device until it is deleted by the user within the app or the relevant app data is removed from the device.
9. Data Subject Rights
Where personal data is processed by the controller, applicable data protection laws may provide rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, and, where applicable, objection.
Because Outfit Gen stores the wardrobe and image data described above only locally on the device, the developer generally has no access to this content.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app’s functionality or data-processing practices change.
